Hunan Commerce Department Deputy Director Wang TingKai led delegation to visit CCILC-Macau

A 19 people-strong delegation led by Wang TingKai, Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province, paid a visit to the Macau Delegation of the Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILC-Macau) on 22 October morning. CCILC-Macau President Bernie Leong and Director Li Jie extended a cordial reception to them.

 

President Bernie Leong welcomed the delegation’s visit. He said that CCILC was founded in 1978 in Lisbon, Portugal, and the CCILC-Macau was established in 1992. As a non-profit organization, CCILC has been committed to providing an exchange platform to push forward economic and trade cooperation and development between China and Portugal. He said that CCILC welcomes Deputy Director Wang TingKai to visit Portugal in the future, where cooperation could be reached through the mediation of CCILC-Macau with their headquarters in Portugal.

 

Wang TingKai expressed her gratitude to Bernie Leong and introduced the current economic situations of Hunan. She said that Hunan has seen great economic development and has received dedicated support from the central government.  Hunan expects to promote its quality products to Portugal and other Portuguese-speaking countries through the platform of CCILC-Macau.

 

The two sides exchanged views on various topics during the meeting.

 

Representatives attending the meeting included a deputy general manager at ICBC Macau Duan QiMing, Hengdong County’s party secretary Chen LiYang, and Nan County’s vice party secretary and governor Kong LingQiang, among others.
